GTC for guided bike tours
1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings and services made via the website, by phone, or by email.
By making a booking, the customer accepts these Terms and Conditions.
2. Conclusion of the Contract
The online booking request is merely a non-binding inquiry.
The contract is concluded upon written confirmation by Leipzig Bike Tours.
Agreements made by phone become binding only after written confirmation.
3. Services
The scope of services is specified in the booking confirmation.
For guided bike tours, last-minute changes to the route are possible due to construction sites, road closures, and other factors;
however, these do not significantly affect the overall nature of the tour. In principle, tours take place in all weather conditions,
provided that the safety of the participants can be ensured.
In case of inclement weather, there is the option of taking a guided walking tour of the city instead of the guided bike tour.
Leipzig Bike-Tours will provide any umbrellas that may be needed for this.
4. Eligibility Requirements, Safety, and Liability
- This is an outdoor activity; therefore, participation in a tour organized by Leipzig Bike-Tours is at your own risk.
- Leipzig Bike-Tours assumes no liability for accidents caused by your own negligence.
- All participants are required to obey traffic laws (German StVO) and act considerately.
- Safe cycling, physical fitness, and following the guide’s instructions.
- Gross misconduct may result in expulsion; no refunds will be issued.
5. Cancellation by the Organizer
- Possible in cases of force majeure or insufficient number of participants.
- Refund of amounts already paid; no further claims.
- Leipzig Bike-Tours may withdraw from the contract if the tour cannot be conducted for reasons beyond our control,
cannot be carried out, particularly in cases of force majeure (e.g., severe weather) or the unavailability of the required number of guides (e.g., due to illness).
In this case, payments already made will be refunded. Further claims, particularly claims for damages, are excluded.
6. Prices and Payment
- All prices include sales tax.
- Payment as specified in the booking confirmation.
- For advance payments and deposits, see the cancellation policy.
7. Cancellation by the Customer

8. Late Arrival and No-Show
- Please meet at the meeting point at least 10 minutes early.
- No make-up sessions or refunds in the event of a delay.
- No-Show = Full cancellation fee.
9. Final Provisions
- German law applies.
- If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalidity of any individual provision shall not affect the remaining provisions.
